Controp is showcasing its range of cutting-Edge EO Systems for Coastal and Maritime surveillance at the ongoing show. The Israeli firm specializes in the development and production of electro-optical and precision motion control systems for surveillance, defence and homeland security.
Controp products are in use with several APAC nations for maritime, costal surveillance and CUAS missions. Controp’s maritime dominance solutions provides maximum sensor range performance by using highly sensitive sensors including HD Thermal Camera and a SWIR Camera allowing the best performance even in the most challenging weather conditions such as high humidity, Haze & Fog and unique video enhancement algorithms.
Amongst the company’s advanced EO/IR systems at the show, include those specially designed for maritime environment segment such as the ISEA Family which can be used on a variety of maritime vessels and missions, including river patrol craft, unmanned surface vessels (USVs), offshore patrol vessels (OPVs) and frigates. Controp’s i-Tact Family of sensors is aimed at solving one of the tracking and classifying challenges of CUAS and air defence systems, which it does by tracking and classifying the targets using a cutting-edge AI technology.
The company’s i-Sea family of sensors make use of advanced AI technology to provide excellent sensor imagery, including from cooled medium-wave infrared (MWIR) thermal cameras that can detect objects and people from large distances during the day and night. The addition of a short-wave IR camera, as is included in the iSea 50HD, also allows SAR crews to see through adverse meteorological conditions such as haze and fog.
