Havelsan, the sole simulator manufacturer in Türkiye, has achieved Level D certification under European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations for its Boeing B737 MAX Full Flight Simulator (FFS) operated by Turkish Airlines.
EASA Level D certification is the highest level of qualification that a flight simulator can achieve, indicating that the simulator meets the most rigorous standards in terms of accuracy and fidelity to real-world aircraft performance. This certification process involves rigorous testing to ensure that the simulator can accurately replicate a wide range of scenarios and conditions that pilots may encounter during actual flights, such as take-off and landing, turbulence, and emergencies.
Havelsan has has been delivering top-quality simulators since 2017 when it delivered an EASA Level D certified Boeing 737-800 NG Simulator to Turkish Airlines. In 2018, the company signed a contract for a total of 11 A320 CEO NEOs and Boeing 737 MAX FFS and FTD Simulators. The company aims to obtain EASA Level D certification for its Airbus A320 CEO/NEO FFS in the third quarter of 2023.
Havelsan is now able to offer simulator solutions for all narrow-body aircraft.
