Honeywell appoints AMETEK Singapore as Solid-state FDR and CVR Authorized Repair Center

Singapore (Feb. 21, 2024), AMETEK Singapore PTE has been named a Honeywell Authorized Repair Center (ARC) for solid-state Flight Data Recorders (FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorders (CVR) for Airbus A320/A330/A340 and Boeing 737NG/737Max/777 aircraft. The five-year agreement covers full test and repair capability, enabling AMETEK MRO to provide worldwide customer support.

David Corish, Divisional Vice President & General Manager of AMETEK Singapore PTE, emphasizes the company’s core strategy of supporting both legacy and new platforms with best-in-class solutions for customers. “This agreement expands our long-standing relationship with Honeywell and strengthens our presence in the market. Honeywell has confidence in our OEM-trained technicians and our extensive history of customer support.”

“Importantly, AMETEK MRO offers a highly diverse range of sustainable OEM support programs and we are passionate about keeping units on-wing and back to a serviceable condition as quickly as possible.”

Corish explains that Singapore is a very active region for partnerships and collaborations, and according to market data, it will dominate global growth trends. He adds, “AMETEK MRO Singapore has the financial backing it needs to prioritize innovation and expand capabilities for new and older platforms. The organization’s multi-skilled and agile workforce is geared up to align with the objectives of OEMs as they concentrate on the technology of tomorrow.”
