Our Bureau - : Apr 26, 2024 - : 4:32 pm

Korean Air is set to open a new daily route connecting Seoul Incheon with Macau starting 1 July 2024, as stated by the airline’s press release on Friday (Apr. 26).

The flights will depart from Incheon International Airport at 9:15 pm and land at Macau International Airport at 11:55 pm. On the return journey, the flight will leave Macau International Airport at 1:10 am the following day, arriving at Incheon International Airport at 6:00 am. The duration of the flight is approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes.

Macau, a special administrative region of China, boasts a fusion of Chinese and Portuguese cultures. Its mild winters make it an appealing destination year-round. Travellers can explore its unique streets, historical sites, and lively skyline, while also partaking in activities like night bus tours and fountain shows.

Additionally, Macau’s proximity to Hong Kong, reachable within an hour by ferry or bus, enhances travel convenience. Korean Air currently operates five daily flights between Seoul Incheon and Hong Kong.

In response to increasing travel demand, Korean Air is expanding its services and exploring new markets to bolster its network in China. The airline has resumed three weekly flights between Seoul Incheon and Zhangjiajie, as well as four weekly flights between Seoul Incheon and Zhengzhou, commencing on April 23rd and 24th respectively.
