Sergio Biganzoli, former CFO of AgustaWestland, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at Manta Aircraft with immediate effect. Hybrid-electric long-range eV/STOL OEM Manta Aircraft is focused on regional aviation in the field of Advanced Air Mobility.
Biganzoli joins the company after almost eight years as CFO of Agusta Westland. He also has additional experience in financial management consulting – also in the aerospace industry.
Biganzoli is the latest big name in the aerospace field to join Manta Aircraft. He follows Guiseppe Orsi, former CEO and Chairman of Finmeccanica (now Leonardo), Fabio Nanonni, former Senior Vice President of Engineering and Senior Vice President for Safety System Governance at Leonardo Helicopters, and Stephen C. Moss, former CEO of AgustaWestland North America, who serve in an advisory role to Manta Aircraft’s board and management.

Manta Aircraft is developing a range of performance-oriented hybrid-electric vertical and short take-off and landing air vehicles (heV/STOL) for regional air mobility and plans to begin certification of the first two-seat, multi-purpose model ANN2 in 2023.
