SAUDI’S VERY OWN YAMAMA IS HERE!

        Saudi Arabia’s Prince Sultan Defense
Studies and Research Center is showcas-
ing the Yamama YM-01 Unmanned Aerial
System (UAS) for the first time in Jordan.

“There seems to be a lot of interest in
Yamama here and we expect to get some
export opportunities for the UAS,” a senior
official at the Prince Sultan Defense
Studies and Research Center said on the
sidelines of the show. “The UAS is a com-
        plete multi-role tactical Unmanned Aerial
        System (UAS), designed for surveillance,
        and reconnaissance, and Target correction
        applications. It has autonomous take-off
and landing system, and can be controlled
through a dedicated ground control station
and tracking antenna unit,” he added.
