Oman Munition Production Company Seeking New Partnerships

Officials from the Oman Munition Production
Company (OMPC), one of the leading na-
tional companies in the Sultanate of Oman
are visiting the ongoing SAHA Expo, eyeing
greater partnerships in Turkey and the sur-
rounding region. OMPC was established to
support the Sultanate of Oman’s defence
and security sectors by providing munitions
and technical services. Speaking to Daily
News, company officials say that OMPC is
seeking and also offering technical advisory
services as also exploring various options
for raw material required for munitions.
These efforts are part of the Sultanate’s
endeavors to enhance local capabilities in
the defence industries to rely on providing
high-quality munitions for local and global
customers, and achieve self-sufficiency
in manufacturing munitions and military
