Airbus Says ‘Keep Trust in Air Travel’, Takes Measures

: Jun 3, 2020 - : 4:04 am

With heightened concerns on safety stemming from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Airbus is working to ensure that passengers experience a safe return to air travel.

The company is actively engaged in the ‘Keep Trust in Air Travel’ campaign, which is focused on promoting  measures that the aviation industry has implemented to protect the health of all air travellers.

Clean Air On Board
The company has highlighted that Airbus aircraft are equipped with hospital-grade air filters that capture more than 99.9 per cent of particles, including those of bacteria and viruses, keeping cabin air clean and safe.

The cabin air is fully renewed every 2-3 min. The optimised top-to-bottom airflow patterns, helps avoid spread of virus/bacteria and the well-positioned air inlets & outlets allows efficient cabin air distribution.

The lavatory and galley air is directly exhausted outside.
