Embraer makes its presence felt at Avalon

Our Bureau - : Mar 1, 2023 - : 7:17 pm

Brazilian aerospace giant Embraer has a strong presence at Avalon Airshow 2023, with its line-up parked on the tarmac including the E195-E2 TechLion commercial aircraft, and Phenom 100EV and Phenom 300E business jets.

Indeed, this is the Avalon debut for the E195-E2, described as the world’s most efficient single-aisle aircraft. It can accommodate up to 146 passengers. Last July, Embraer and Pratt & Whitney successfully tested an E195-E2 on 100% sustainable aviation fuel, which can reduce emissions by up to 85%.

Furthermore, the Phenom 300 was recently announced as the world’s bestselling light jet for the eleventh consecutive year. The new Phenom 300E is faster, its top speed of Mach 0.8 making it the fastest single-pilot jet currently in production. It can carry five occupants for a range of 2,010nm.

The Phenom 300 operates in 36 countries, and the fleet has reached nearly 1.8 million flight hours.

Francisco Gomes Neto, CEO of Embraer, enthused, ‘Australia is home to Embraer’s diverse range of business jets and commercial aircraft and, thanks to our customers and partners, our aircraft are synonymous with performance, innovation and reliability.’ Already, more than eleven Embraer business jets and 40 E-Jets fly in Australia.
