Malaysia Airlines Launches MHflypass ASEAN

Yulian Ardiansyah - : May 30, 2022 - : 7:26 pm

Malaysia Airlines has launched the MHflypass ASEAN to 12 cities in the Southeast Asia region outside Malaysia. The fixed-rate pass will allow multiple trips to destinations all year round in the ASEAN countries.

“We are thrilled to add more destinations to our MHflypass offerings, extending beyond Malaysia,” said Lau Yin May, Group Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer. “This exciting expansion gives our passengers a greater range of cities to discover, simultaneously revitalizing the tourism industry across the ASEAN region. With accredited COVID-19 measures put in place for our passengers to fly confidently, we look forward to welcoming them back on board.”

The ASEAN pass is part of the airline’s MHflypass program for domestic flights inside Malaysia which was launched in April 2021. The program promises no blackout periods, priority check-in, boarding, and baggage drop, free date change, extra baggage allowance, and more.

The MHflypass ASEAN consists of three zones with zone 1 covering flights between Kuala Lumpur and nine destinations in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar; zone 2 covering flights between Kuala Lumpur and Manila, Hanoi, and Bali; and zone 3 which consists of the widest selection of destinations to choose. Each pass includes six tickets for either three round trips or six one-way trips.

Price starts at MYR1,499 excluding an MYR200 discount until 5 June 2022.
