In addition to this agreement Qatar’s Military Police entered into a contract to modernise its existing infrastructure, while the Qatari Joint Special Forces entered into a series of MoUs with domestic and international firms at DIMDEX 2022 a host of local and international companies in defence industries. There were MoU signed with Turkey’s Yonca-Onuk, Balhambar factory and Performance Marine, who are leading companies specialised in the maritime defence industry. They produce a number of boats that would enhance the capabilities of the special forces in the maritime field. Staff-Brigadier General Jassim bin Ali al-Attiyah, Commander of the Joint Special Forces, signed the agreements. (QNA)
