Raytheon Technologies, which has a sizable foothold in the Korean aerospace and defense market, is showcasing its counter-UAS capabilities and as well as technologies such as ISTAR at the ongoing ADEX 2021. On Display are Raytheon Missiles & Defense’s counter-UAS capabilities, including Coyote and Ku-band Radio Frequency System (KurFS), as well as strike weapons such as the Joint Strike Missile and StormBreaker smart weapon. Raytheon Intelligence & Space’s Intelligence Surveillance Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) solution acts as an information hub for both friendly and hostile ground activities and is designed to support operations during both peace and wartime. Collins Aerospace’s Tactical Synthetic Aperture Radar (TACSAR), built in partnership with Leonardo, provides commanders with fast jet all-weather ISR capability.
The company is also offering the MS-110 multispectral airborne reconnaissance system for the Republic of Korea Air Force’s (ROKAF) F-16s and other fast jets, as well as the Joint Moving Target Surveillance and Command Aircraft programme. At the event, Collins will emphasize measures to connect the battlespace, including the integration of the SATURN waveform.
