Thailand’s Defence Technology Institute (DTI), the nation’s premier defence research agency is displaying the prototype of a tactical robotic combat vehicle (RCV).
The RCV is being designed for use in combat, logistic operations as well as supporting civilian operations in HADR and emergency services.
The RCV features a Milrem Robotics Themis Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) with an EOS Defence Systems R400S-MK2-D-HD, which features a 30 mm cannon, along with a day and thermal camera.
The RCV can carry a payload of more than 700kg, which is ideal for fitment of a remote weapon station, lifting platform or surveillance payloads.
The RCV is powered by a state-of-the-art electrical drive system which is battery powered.
