After the 2021 show was postponed due to the pandemic, Thailand’s Ministry of Defense and the Royal Thai Armed Forces will host the tri-service Defense & Security 2022 trade exhibition in August. The event will be held at the IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok between 29 August to 1 September 2022.
This year’s biannual event will be the tenth Defense & Security exhibition since it was first held in 2003. As with the exhibition in 2019, it will feature a full display of defense and internal security equipment separated into two sections. The Defense section will showcase international defense products and solutions while the Internal Security section will showcase security and monitoring solutions and related products.
Several international seminars, conferences, and live demonstrations will also be a part of this year’s Defense & Security exhibition. With over 550 defense and security companies from 50 countries expected to showcase their products, the show is also expected to attract more than 21,000 professionals from 65 countries as well as 400 international official delegations.
With a focus on high-ranking officials from the Army, Navy, and Air Force of various Asian countries, the Defense & Security 2022 exhibition is open only to military personnel and professionals in the industry. Aside from online registration that is available until August 20, invitations have also been sent to related government ministries, departments, and private security organizations in other countries.
