Vietnam Airline Flies A350 to Melbourne

: Jul 6, 2018 - : 4:32 am

Vietnam Airlines will change the aircraft type on its Ho Chi Minh City- Melbourne route from the Dreamliner to the Airbus A350, later this month.   Flights operate daily between Hoi Chi Minh City, using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, but from 29 July the airline will switch to the A350.   The change will remain until the end of the summer timetable 27 October.   According to Airlineroute timetable information, the flight departs Ho Chi Minh City at 2120 and arrives in Melbourne at 0835 on the following morning. The return flight departs Melbourne at 1035 and arrives in Hi Chi Minh City 1610.   At present, the A350 is the world’s longest-range airliner. Apart from its long-range and fuel efficiency, the cabin is more spacious with a higher ceiling, LED lighting and a cabin pressure set at a lower altitude to improve the cabin experience.   The ultra-long version will be used by Singapore Airlines to launch of the world’s longest route, Singapore to New York, this October.
