StandardAero recently celebrated the completion of its 3,000th workscope on the GE Aviation CF34 turbofan engine, which is widely used on regional jet airliners around the world.
The company was first appointed as a GE Aviation Authorized Service Provider (ASP) for the CF34-3 and CF34-8 in 2001. The milestone 3,000th engine workscope shipped was a CF34-8C5B1 powering a CRJ700 regional jet operated by SkyWest Airlines.
“The delivery of our 3,000th CF34 engine workscope is a significant achievement for StandardAero as we enter our twentieth year of supporting CF34 operators worldwide,” said David Green, Vice President & General Manager, CF34/CFM56 at StandardAero. “GE Aviation is one of our most important long-standing industry partners, and we are proud to provide GE and its customers with high quality MRO support.”
The company provides a full range of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the CF34 family from its Winnipeg facility in MB, Canada. In 2013, StandardAero was appointed by GE as the first independent TRUEngine authorized MRO provider for the CF34.
In addition, StandardAero’s Business Aviation team offers CF34 Authorized Line Service maintenance throughout its North American facilities, including Augusta, GA (AGS), Springfield, IL (SPI) and Houston, TX (IAH). StandardAero has supported CF34-3 business jet applications as an Authorized Service Center (ASC) since 2012.
