أعلنت شركة لوكهيد مارتن، الشركة الأمريكية الرائدة عالمياً في مجال التكنولوجيا، أنها تنوي أن تستعرض أحدث حلولها الدفاعية خلال الدورة الخامسة عشرة من معرض الدفاع آيدكس ومؤتمر الدفاع الدولي، الذي يُقام في العاصمة الإماراتية أبوظبي في الفترة بين 21 و 25 فبراير 2021.
ستتضمن معروضات لوكهيد مارتن جيل المستقبل من الطائرات والأنظمة الدوارة وتقنيات الدفاع الجوي والصاروخي التي تقدمها الشركة، إضافة إلى أنظمة القيادة والتحكم، وحلول المحاكاة والتدريب المتقدمة. وستعرض الشركة ابتكاراتها العالمية خلال معرض آيدكس في جناح 01-A11 داخل مركز أبوظبي الوطني للمعارض.
هذا وقد قال الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة لوكهيد مارتن في الشرق الأوسط روبرت هاروارد: “نلتزم في لوكهيد مارتن بدعم شركائنا الإقليميين في خضم بيئة جيوسياسية متطورة بشكل متزايد. وخلال دورة آيدكس لهذا العام، نتطلع إلى عرض قدراتنا الدفاعية الأكثر ابتكاراً والتفاعل مع شركائنا لدعم مقدراتهم الدفاعية وأجنداتهم لتنمية رأس المال البشري.”
أضافت الشركة في تصريح لها اليوم الأربعاء أن السيد تيم كاهيل، نائب أول لرئيس شركة لوكهيد مارتن الدولية، سيشارك على هامش المؤتمر في جلسة نقاشية بعنوان “استكشاف الفرص المبتكرة في إدارة منظومة سلسلة الإمداد بعد جائحة كوفيد-19”. تهدف هذه الجلسة، والتي ستعقد يوم 20 فبراير، إلى مناقشة الاتجاهات والتقنيات النوعية التي تشكل ملامح قطاع التصنيع الاستراتيجي مع التركيز على قطاع الدفاع.
تتواجد شركة لوكهيد مارتن في منطقة الشرق الأوسط من منذ أكثر من 50 عاماً قدمت خلالها العديد من الأنظمة الدفاعية وأثبتت أنها شريك استراتيجي. كما دعمت أنظمة الفضاء والأقمار الاصطناعية وساهمت في تطوير الصناعة الدفاعية وتدريب رأس المجال البشري في عدد من المجالات.
يقام معرض الدفاع الدولي (آيدكس) مرة كل عامين في أبو ظبي منذ عام 1993، ويعتبر من أهم معارض الدفاع في العالم وأكبر معارض الدفاع البري والبحري والتخصصات العسكرية المختلفة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال افريقيا. يجمع آيدكس كبار الخبراء ليشمل القيادات الحكومية والعسكرية، بهدف مناقشة مستقبل تكنولوجيا الدفاع في كل المجالات البرية والبحرية والجوية والفضائية.
تعتبر الدورة الجديدة هي الأضخم والأكبر في تاريخ المعرض حيث تشارك فيه 1112 شركة من 59 دولة و38 جناحا على مساحة عرض صافية تصل إلى 133000 متر مربع، إضافة إلى مشاركة أكثر من 77 وزير دفاع و79 شخصية عسكرية مهمة من رئيس أركان وقادة القوات البحرية إضافةً إلى وفود عسكرية من 82 دولة على كافة المستويات القيادية، كما تشارك الإمارات بأكبر جناح وطني يضم أكثر من 140 شركة وطنية.
