VITEC, a multinational Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) technology company, is set to bring its streaming technologies at the upcoming Milipol Asia-Pacific event at Sands Expo, Singapore from 3 to 5 April 2024. The company will be showcasing its military-grade TOUGH portable HEVC & H.264 streaming encoders alongside the EZ TV ISR content management solution, specifically tailored for government and military applications.
“The APAC region has a fast-moving defence and security landscape, and we’re thrilled to showcase our innovative video solutions at Milipol Asia-Pacific for the first time,” says Jamie Hind, Regional Director APAC, VITEC. “VITEC has enjoyed ongoing success in defence, security and government projects in the region, and we are committed to expanding our presence to further serve the market.”
“We look forward to demonstrating why we are best placed to deliver video streaming solutions with our class-leading encoding, decoding and content management offerings designed to withstand harsh environments and extreme conditions,” he added.
Among the highlighted products is VITEC’s TOUGH range of encoders, encompassing MGW Diamond TOUGH, MGW PICO+ Tough, MGW PICO TOUGH, and MGW Nano TOUGH. These are low-power, compact, and rugged devices designed to capture and stream low-bandwidth, low-latency Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) video originating from manned and unmanned land, sea, or air vehicles under extreme conditions.
The company’s scalable lineup ranges from pocket-sized encoders to high-efficiency multi-channel HEVC encoders, addressing diverse scenarios and delivering HEVC HD and 4K resolution with HDR support while minimizing bandwidth consumption.
Additionally, the event will feature EZ TV ISR, offering users the ability to process, archive, index, manage, and share tactical video and metadata content. Its secure architecture, meeting Information Assurance and Cyber-Security standards, enables government and military entities to efficiently exploit and process live and recorded video assets, improving collaborative workflows. EZ TV ISR can be swiftly deployed in the field or within a secure, hosted site, serving as the central interface for managing live and recorded content.
