Our Bureau - : May 16, 2024 - : 6:51 pm

AirFi announced its partnership with United Enterprise (UE) to establish AirFi China, located at Baiyun International Airport in Guangzhou, China. This collaboration marks an important step in the company’s expansion strategy, aiming to establish a stronger presence in the global market.

United Enterprise is a company that specializes in representing, distributing, and servicing various leading products and services within the aviation industry. Under this partnership, United Enterprise will extend its services to include AirFi’s product portfolio, which encompasses the AirFi box IFE streaming solution, Connected Crew mPOS solutions, and the AirFi LEO connectivity solution.

“No two global regions are alike. This is why the AirFi growth strategy has always included branded partners who understand the nuances of doing business in their home markets,” commented Job Heimerikx, AirFi CEO. “By combining our strengths with the strength of our local partners, we can operate with maximum efficiency and support airlines everywhere to improve passenger experiences, boost inflight sales revenues, and streamline crew operations.”

“United Enterprise is a very well-established player in China with a vast network of customers and broad experience in aircraft OEM projects, aftermarket sales and distribution, MRO and more. We look forward to growing AirFi’s presence in the Chinese market together,” he added.

“AirFi is the global leader in portable wireless IFE solutions, onboard retail technology and low-bandwidth aircraft connectivity and we see a great need for such innovation in the Chinese aviation sector,” said Angie Peng, business development manager at United Enterprise.

“It is expected that the market response to AirFi China will be strong, and we are excited about short and long-term opportunities for mutual development. We have already begun marketing AirFi solutions in the region with positive responses.”

AirFi China aims to tailor its product portfolio to align with the unique cultural and business landscape of China. This includes integrating features such as in-seat ordering capabilities compatible with popular payment methods like AliPay and QR codes.

The establishment of AirFi China adds to AirFi’s network of branded partners worldwide, reinforcing its commitment to delivering its products across different regions.
