Anschuetz Singapore will deliver integrated navigation and bridge systems with Synapsis NX technology to six offshore patrol vessels (OPVs) of the Philippines Navy. The OPVs are built at Hyundai Heavy Industries, South Korea.
Th company is demonstrating its bridge navigation and mission systems at the ongoing IMDEX Asia 2023 in Singapore. The systems provided by the company for the OPVs also comprises advanced sensors, including a marine inertial navigation system and a smart data distribution management that ensures reliable and consistent data and information throughout the navigation system. The company is also responsible for commissioning and installation of the system, setting-to-work, sea trials and training.
The new OPVs are part of the Philippines’ defence modernisation programme and are intended to counter low to medium-intensity conflicts and assist in peacetime operations.
