EASA Approval for P&WC’s PW307D Engine

The Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PW307D engine has received type validation from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the engine maker announced at EBACE. The new generation turbofan engine was first introduced two years ago at the same show. The PW307D powers Dassault Aviation’s new Falcon 8X, three-engine ultra-long-range business jet which is slated for certification this summer.
