Emirates is showcasing its entire family of aircraft at the ongoing Dubai Airshow in a show of strength. On display is the latest retrofitted Airbus A380 and Boeing 777-300ER in the airline’s newest signature livery.
The Emirates Flight Training Academy’s Diamond DA42-VI aircraft, received earlier this year is also on display along with Cirrus SR 22 training aircraft. An Embraer Phenom 100 charter jet is also at the show.
Emirates opened the flying display of the first afternoon of the Airshow with a fly past comprising of Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 in the airline’s latest livery, joined by its partner UAE commercial airlines, followed by the UAE’s air-display team, Al Fursan.
The first 10 units of Emirates’ A380 aircraft have completed a full make-over from Emirates’ ongoing $2 billion retrofit programme, incorporating the airline’s popular Premium Economy Class cabin, in addition to refreshed interiors and enhancements across all cabins.
A highlight this year of the Emirates exhibition stand, open to all Dubai Airshow visitors will be gamified environments set inside Emirates aircraft offering visitors a glimpse into future simulated experiences.
