Korea-based ROKADI has signed a Purchase Order to supply General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) with fuel interface rings for the MQ-9B SkyGuardian®/SeaGuardian Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
“We’re excited to be working with ROKADI,” said Jaime Walters, vice president of International Strategic Development at GA-ASI. “Using ROKADI’s product is a testament to the confidence GA-ASI has in the Korean industry capability.”
In June this year, ROKADI completed First Article Inspection of the Interface Fuel Rings. ROKADI designs, engineers, and manufactures large and complex contoured aerostructure components for the aviation industry.
Jisang Park, executive vice president at ROKADI, said: “We are delighted that ROKADI’s capabilities have been approved by GA-ASI. We hope to expand and deepen our relationship with GA-ASI through this opportunity.”
GA-ASI has delivered more than 1,000 unmanned aircraft since its founding in 1992 and its aircraft have flown over 8 million hours. GA-ASI’s newest and most advanced aircraft, the MQ-9B SkyGuardian and SeaGuardian, are tailored to meet the multi-domain and multi-environmental needs of its customers.
