Nexter, a KNDS group company, is showcasing its range of solutions across artillery, ammunition, Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) and robotics, naval weapon systems, decision aid and simulation tools at the ongoing Indo Defence expo.
Nexter already has a strong presence in Indonesia, having supplied CAESAR mounted gun systems to the Indonesian Army in addition to its 105LG1 light artillery gun. The company is also promoting its expertise in Armoured Fighting Vehicles and the Nexter VBCI, which can be fitted with turrets of different caliber: from the lighter (12.7mm) to the heavier 105mm for these types.
Robotics is an area of growing focus at Nexter as it is also a system integrator in the land UAV domain and its expertise encompasses mini-robots from the NERVA range to tactical polyvalent robots of the OPTIO range.
The NERVA LG, which is on display is capable of hosting a large range of payloads while remaining highly mobile. It can be particularly adapted to recon missions, NRBC detection or explosive devices neutralization in extreme environments.
A model of Nexter’s NARWHAL 20A is also on display. The NARWHAL’s 20M621 cannon, is particularly adapted to surveillance and maritime police missions and it can also fulfill very short-range self-defence missions against drones and light vessels.
