A new armoured vehicle, the Rabdan 6×6 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) has been unveiled at the show by the UAE’s Al Jasoor.
Al Jasoor is part of the Platforms & Systems cluster within EDGE and the armoured vehicle specialist supplies the Rabdan 8×8 IFV to the UAE military.
The Rabdan 6×6 is touted as a new generation, amphibious, multi-wheel armoured vehicle and is being offered to meet current and future operational requirements of the defence and military units in the GCC region and beyond.

Featuring high commonality with our signature 8×8 platform, the amphibious 6×6 drives down cost for our clients, meets modern warfare requirements, and optimizes value for all operational requirements,” said Fahad Al Absi, CEO Al Jasoor.
The Rabdan 6×6 is fitted with a flexible ballistic protection capability with a modular add-on armour system and is also equipped with an automatic fire suppression system.
It also features an open electronic architecture for the seamless integration of C4I and other futuristic systems.
