Serbian state-owned defence export company J.P. Yugoimport-SDPR, is promoting the capabilities of its NORA-B/52 KI self-propelled gun-howitzer (SPG) at the ongoing expo.
The 155mm/52 cal weapon system features an advanced integrated Fire Control System (FCS) with integrated INS, GPS-based orientation and navigation system as back-up, muzzle velocity radar featuring C2 functionality and automatic gun laying capability.
One of the export customers for the NORA SPG is the Bangladesh Army.
The NORA SPG’s 155mm/52 cal gun has a range of 42km with ERF B/BB ammunition and a range of 60 km could be achieved with ERFB/RA/BB projectiles that are under development
The SPG features a fully automatic gun loader featuring a high-rate of fire and zero-crew fatigue during firing. Each vehicle carries 36 ammo rounds on-board which are combat set, 12 are ready for fire and the remaining 24 additional rounds are stored in the magazine.
It is supported by a logistic vehicle with modular magazine reloading system. It stores a total of 72 rounds in three 24 round modules and has an on-board crane. Anti-tank mine protection is also provided in vital areas.
