CySource has announced that the company is joining the Israeli Cyber Companies Consortium (IC3) led by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in Tel Aviv on Thursday (30 June). The Israeli Information Technology (IT) company will provide its cloud-based CASP (Continuous Automated Skills Patch) platform to assist in developing necessary cyber-related skills within and outside the organization.
CySource’s CASP includes secure development, cloud security, management training, and more, in a variety of languages, and with an advanced management and reporting interface to allow skills to be evaluated in real-time, based on the worker’s role in any of the organization’s departments. Due to its machine-learning engine, the findings can be used to determine what trainings need to be foreseen, whether at the team, department, or company level.
“We are pleased to be joining the Israeli Cyber Companies Consortium and work with IAI-ELTA’s Cyber Academy. This is a significant milestone in providing wide-ranging technological solutions with added value for programs for the real time evaluation and training of cyber capabilities for personnel in governmental and other organizations,” said CySource CEO, Amir Bar-El in the company’s press release.
“Since some 80% of cyber incidents are thought to be due to human error, we developed the CASP platform to provide organizations with the ability to identify gaps in personnel skills, mitigating these through focused interventions to make maximum use of the time and cost of training workers,” he added. “CySource is working with the Consortium members to provide advanced cyber training to governmental and security agencies around the world.”
“Cyber technology is an important and growing part of IAI’s activities, enabling us to supply solutions to a wide range of cyber threats, whether at the national level, for smart transportation, or the marine or aviation sectors,” said IAI’s Cyber Division VP and General Manager, Esti Peshin “We welcome CySource, a leading Israeli cyber company with unique solutions, to the Israeli Cyber Consortium, which is helping position Israel at the forefront of the world’s cyber activities, and we look forward to its participation in the Consortium and collaboration with IAI.”
IC3 was established in 2016 under the aegis of Israel’s Ministry of the Economy to provide an overarching solution for Israeli cyber companies to the needs of different national-level cyber agencies. Led by IAI, companies in the Consortium include Check Point, Verint, Bynet, ECI, and CyberX. Checkmarx, CyberArk, BGProtect, XM Cyber, and Mellanox Technologies. This consortium offers a combination of the leading Israeli cyber technologies to customers worldwide.
Within the framework of the Consortium, a National Cyber Center was established in a Latin American country, part of the acquisition of a strategic national-level cyber-defense program, which included risk-evaluation surveys and setting up an advanced monitoring and defense center against cyber-attack.
