Luxair has confirmed the purchase of two additional Boeing 737-8 aircraft. The aircraft will supplement the two Boeing 737-8 purchased in March this year, bringing Luxair’s total number of firm orders for the Boeing 737-8 to four.
Additionally, and as a reminder, Luxair has secured an immediate fleet increase based on two Boeing 737-8 aircraft under a leasing agreement, which will enter into service in the summer season of 2023 and who will be operated until 2027. All of these aircraft will be operated by Luxair crews.
Luxair is committed to investing in more modern and fuel-efficient aircraft to provide customers with a more comfortable flying experience. The Boeing 737-8 has a spacious cabin, improved seating comfort, greater seat spacing of 30 inches and larger overhead bins to accommodate more cabin baggage. With these modern and fuel-efficient aircraft, Luxair will be able to offer more comfortable flights and expand its network of destinations, providing even more options to its customers.
