Lion Group and Jeju Air have unveiled a strategic alliance aimed at simplifying international travel for explorers. The agreement was recently inked by Capt. Daniel Putut Kuncoro Adi, President Director of Lion Group, and Kim E-Bae, President Director of Jeju Air, in Jakarta.
Capt. Daniel Putut Kuncoro Adi, President Director of Lion Group, stated, “This cooperation is an important step for Lion Group in providing convenience for Indonesian travelers to explore more international destinations. We understand that comfort and flexibility are very important for travelers, and with this multi-city concept, we can provide a broader and efficient choice of routes.”
He further added, “We are also proud to support the government program in bringing foreign tourists to Indonesia. With more flight options available, we hope that more travelers from different countries will be interested in visiting the beauty and cultural diversity offered by cities in Indonesia.”
Kim E-Bae, President Director of Jeju Air, expressed, “Through this collaboration, Jeju Air is committed to delivering an easier and more fun travel experience for travelers. We are confident that by combining our aviation network with Lion Group, travelers will experience great benefits from increased accessibility and flexibility in planning their trips.”
He also noted, “In addition, Lion Group and Jeju Air code share services are excited to introduce more foreign tourists to Indonesia. We believe that this partnership will not only strengthen bilateral relations between South Korea and Indonesia, but will also open new opportunities for tourism development in both countries. We are looking forward to the positive impact this collaboration will have on travelers and the tourism industry.”
The partnership will enable travelers from various Indonesian cities to easily continue their flights to Incheon, South Korea, via Bali (DPS) and Batam (BTH). Upon arrival in Incheon, Jeju Air will facilitate seamless transfers to 36 international routes, including 8 routes to Japan and 11 routes to China, enhancing the travel experience with added flexibility and comfort.
Moreover, this collaboration aligns with government initiatives to attract foreign tourists to Indonesia. The integrated flight services will allow travelers from South Korea and other countries to conveniently visit Indonesian cities via Batam (BTH) and Bali (DPS), potentially boosting foreign tourist numbers and contributing positively to Indonesian tourism.
