Akyol says he is closely monitoring new trends in
the global defence market. “The new threats on the
battlefield have reflected in the changes to our prod-
uct development processes in all domains. We are
focused on bringing to the market new, cutting-edge
products,” Akyol says in an exclusive interview to
Daily News on the sidelines of ADEX 2024.
The Turkish company is among the top ten fast-
est growing defence firms in the world. This year,
Aselsan moved up five spots in the annual “TOP 100
Defence Companies List” of Defense News, jump-
ing to the 42nd position from 47th in the previous
year’s list. This achievement underscores Aselsan’s
strong commitment to global expansion strategy
and innovation in the defence sector.
