The Thunderbolt 40/70 T Naval Gun can
accommodate different ammunition types
and can be loaded with a maximum of 736
rounds. Each barrel can fire 300 rounds per
minute, for a total of 600 rounds per minute.
In case of any failure or stoppage in one
of the 40 mm barrels, the other barrel can
continue firing. The gun cupola is made of
composite material and has a low Radar
Cross Section (RCS). The total weigh of the
weapon system is 7,320 kg.
