Özen İş Makina Eyeing the International Defence Market
Türkiye’s Özen İş Makina products are a vital
cog in the wheel for many of the country’s
defence products. The company, which
was set up in 1980, is the first Turkish firm
to receive the AS 9100 certificate in the
defence and aviation sector.
The firm, which designs and manufactures
moulds, machines and mechanical parts for
sectors such as glass, automotive, energy
and machinery, has had defence and avia-
tion as one of its main focus areas over the
last decade. Mechanical parts and mecha-
nisms produced by the company are used
by a number of big names in the Turkish de-
fence industry, including Roketsan, Aselsan,
BMC, MKE, TUSAŞ, and TEI.
