China showcased its growing portfolio of defence products at Defence & Security 2022. China has been successful in winning a series of export contracts in Thailand for defence equipment, ranging from submarines to armoured vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
The China Pavilion at Defence & Security had a total area of 480 square meters and was one of the largest at the show.
China’s State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (SASTIND) organized four Chinese military trade enterprises to participate in the exhibition.
The four Chinese military trade enterprises, namely, Aerospace Long-March International Trade Co., Ltd. (ALIT), China Precision Machinery Import-Export Corporation (CPMIEC), China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO) and CETC International took part in the show.
The companies showcased products as varied as the CH-4 ‘Rainbow’ and WJ-700 drones, LY-70 and FK-2000 air defence systems, VT4 main battle tank, SR5 multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), SLC-2E radar, electronic warfare (EW) defence system and other products that are available for export.
