President Abdel Fattah El Sisi opened the second edition of the Egypt International Defence and Military Industries Exhibition,
EDEX 2021.
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Defence Minister Mohamed Zaki welcomed the president upon his arrival. The four-day event is held under the auspices of president Sisi with the participation of 400 Egyptian and international companies from 42 countries.
The country is displaying its home-made UAVs, armored vehicles, command and control systems and air navigation among other equipment.
