Taqtile is set to unveil plans at Eurosatory 2022 to integrate its augmented reality (AR) remote guidance service Manifest into Microsoft’s Azure Remote Rendering platform.
The technology partnership enables Microsoft Azure designers to stream Manifest’s instructional overlays onto real-time 3D (RT3D) content, assets, and computer-aided design (CADs).
The news comes in the background of Microsoft and Taqtile working together to trial AR solutions for the US Army. As recently as in March this year, Taqtile integrated Manifest into custom-built, Azure-ready, HoloLens 2 headsets for military personnel.
“Providing an avenue for securely and efficiently incorporating superior-quality, CAD-level 3D content into Manifest is an essential requirement for many of our customers,” said Dirck Schou, CEO, Taqtile. “Support of Microsoft Azure Remote Rendering within Manifest delivers the performance required to help defense organizations meet their goals for digitizing core procedures and achieving higher levels of operational readiness.”
The Manifest AR-enabled platform will be demonstrated on the HoloLens 2 in the Microsoft stand.
