AAR CORP. has entered into an exclusive distribution and licence agreement with BELAC LLC, a subsidiary of Chromalloy, for Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) high-pressure turbine blades for PW4000 engine platforms.
The multi-year agreement ensures a guaranteed stock of T1 blades for the PW4000, a high-value engine platform. This arrangement expands on an existing contract between AAR and BELAC for distributing T1 and T2 turbine blades for the CF6-80C2 engine platform.
Mike Zerbe, General Manager of BELAC, stated that BELAC products are designed for durability and cost savings. He added, “By collaborating with AAR, we are able to offer additional engine material options and enhance supply chain reliability for the global aviation market.”
Sal Marino, AAR’s Senior Vice President of Parts Supply, said the company is committed to providing cost-saving solutions. “We are pleased to expand AAR’s engine portfolio and support the continued growth of our product offerings through this relationship with Chromalloy,” he commented.

Chromalloy operates in over 20 locations worldwide, offering alternative PMA parts, DER repairs, and used serviceable material (USM) to optimise engine overhauls.
