AirAsia, the operating name of Capital A, has been named the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2024, marking its 15th consecutive year of receiving this honour. This consistent recognition highlights AirAsia’s commitment to innovation and value within the low-cost carrier sector.

With a 23-year history of multi-hub operations in Asia, AirAsia continues to improve customer experience through enhancements in booking processes and travel touchpoints, as well as innovative ancillary services. The Skytrax World Airline Awards are determined by millions of international travellers. As a global benchmark of airline quality and excellence, the awards include over 325 airlines. More than 100 customer nationalities participated in the 2023/2024 online survey, with 21.42 million eligible entries recorded from September 2023 to May 2024.
