Eve, JetSetGo Collaborate on Urban Air Mobility in India

Our Bureau - : Jan 21, 2025 - : 11:28 pm

Eve Air Mobility (Eve) has partnered with JetSetGo, a private aircraft charter and fractional ownership company based in New Delhi, to explore the implementation of Eve's Urban ATM (Air Traffic Management) software solution, Vector, in India. The agreement was announced on Tuesday, 21 January, during the Bharat Mobility AAM Conference in New Delhi. JetSetGo becomes Eve’s 14th Vector customer globally and its second in India.

The Vector software aims to support the growth of urban air mobility (UAM) by offering a range of services for air navigation providers, urban authorities, fleet operators, and other stakeholders. These services include UAM flight coordination, vertiport automation, airspace flow management, and conformance management.

“This agreement demonstrates Eve’s continued commitment to the Indian market and we are looking forward to working with JetSetGo on urban air traffic management in India,” said Luiz Mauad, Vice President of Customer Service at Eve Air Mobility. He noted that urban air mobility has the potential to address traffic congestion and improve connectivity to regions with limited access. “Eve’s Urban ATM solution will play a critical role in helping to transport eVTOL passengers quickly and safely in densely populated cities in the future,” he added.

Kanika Tekriwal, CEO and Co-Founder of JetSetGo, highlighted the potential of urban air mobility to transform city travel. “Urban Air Mobility has the transformative potential to reshape urban living by making travel faster, cleaner, and more efficient while addressing the growing challenges of modern cities. At JetSetGo, we are committed to driving this change in India through our partnership with Eve Air Mobility,” she said. Tekriwal emphasised the importance of eco-friendly and community-friendly solutions to address issues such as traffic congestion and air pollution.

The partnership will involve joint efforts to promote urban air mobility in India. This includes initiatives to prepare airspace for travel and exploring opportunities related to the production and certification of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
