Indonesian flag carrier airline, Garuda Indonesia with codeshare partner Qatar Airways on Tuesday (Feb. 6) announced the launching of its new daily direct flight between Jakarta and Doha starting on 4 April 2024. The tickets for this new flight have already been put on sale on the same day as the announcement.
"The presence of Doha in our global flight network is part of our ongoing commitment to provide an increasingly diverse choice of flight routes for service users," said Irfan Setiaputra, CEO of Garuda Indonesia. "We hope that […] this flight route will further improve bilateral relations between the two countries while offering easier access for tourists from Qatar to Indonesia," he added.

The new daily flights between Jakarta’s Soekarno–Hatta International Airport (CGK), and Qatar’s Hamad International Airport (DOH) will be served with the Boeing B777-300ER fleet, seating 393 passengers with a configuration of 26 business class seats, and 367 economy class seats.
Flight number GA 900 is scheduled to depart Jakarta at 18.20 Western Indonesia Time (Waktu Indonesia Barat / WIB, UTC+7), to arrive in Doha at 23:00 Arabia Standard Time (AST, UTC+3). The return flight numbered GA 901 is scheduled to depart Doha at 02.25 AST, to arrive in Jakarta at 15.00 WIB.
