GBP Aerospace & Defence, publisher of Asian Defence Technology, Asian Airlines & Aerospace and Show Preview, has received a total of five nominations at the 2nd Aerospace Media Awards ASIA.
The Aerospace Media Awards ASIA honours the work of Asian journalists and publishers in the fields of aviation and defence.
Atul Chandra, Technology Editor at GBP Aerospace & Defence, received nominations in the categories of ‘Best Safety, Training & Simulation Submission’ and ‘Best Military Aviation Submission,’ in addition to being nominated jointly with Arun Sivasankaran, Managing Editor at GBP Aerospace & Defence, for ‘Best Propulsion Submission’.
Arun received two nominations in the ‘Best Propulsion submission’ category, one individually and the other jointly with Atul, and was also shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Best UAV Submission’ category.
The winners in the respective categories will be announced on February 15 in Singapore.
Atul had received the award for ‘Best MRO Submission’ at the inaugural edition of the Asia Aerospace Media Awards held in 2020, in addition to a nomination for ‘Best Rotorcraft Submission’.
Arun was also nominated for ‘Best Safety, Training & Simulation Submission’ at the inaugural Asia Aerospace Media Awards held in 2020.
As many as 120 entries were received by the award jury in eight categories for the 1st Aerospace Media Awards ASIA held in 2020.
