Meopta is displaying a wide range of military-grade optical gun sights, scopes, and night vision equipment at the Defense Services Asia 2022 (DSA 2022) event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from March 28-31.
From the line of products that the Czech company brings to the show, Meopta is keen to highlight the MeoDot DF T2, MeoBoost DF 3, and MeoNox DF 1 Cougar, all of which are rated to have a 500g recoil resistance, operational temperature range from -40° to 60° Celsius, and featuring Meopta’s own lens coating to reduce glare and achieving more than 94% light transmission ability.
The MeoDot DF T2 is a reflex sight with a wide viewing angle as well as a wide range of aiming marks that can be changed at a press of a button. By utilizing OLED technology, other types of aiming marks can be customized and added to the sight to support different weapon platforms and/or shooting modes. It can either be used as a stand-alone sight or combined with other Meopta night vision or magnifier modules to allow accurate day and night shooting at short to medium distances.
The MeoBoost DF 3 is a magnifier module with 3x object magnification. With 65 mm eye relief and a 6° field of view, its flip mount enables its user to quickly switch from precise medium-range aiming to short-distance direct shooting such as in a close-quarter combat situation – especially when paired with Meopta’s reflex sight.
The MeoNox DF 1 Cougar is a Night Vision Device (NVD) that can be used either as a helmet-mounted, handheld, or rifle-mounted NVD. When used stand-alone, its 1x magnification and 40° field of view along with its “4G” image intensifier tube enable it to detect a human object from as far as 970 meters with recognition and identification ranges from 320 meters and 175 meters respectively.
