Recaro, Panasonic Avionics Unveil Astrova IFE On CL3810 Seat

Recaro Aircraft Seating (Recaro) in partnership with Panasonic Avionics Corporation (Panasonic Avionics) unveil the Astrova In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) on CL3810 economy class seat at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2022 in Hamburg, Germany.

The combination of Recaro’s CL3810 seat and Panasonic Avionics’ Astrova IFE offers lightweight and full-featured entertainment and information display in comfortable seating for economy class passengers. Each Astrova IFE features a 4K Organic LED (OLED) panel capable of displaying High Dynamic Range (HDR) contents. The system also includes Panasonic’s Bluetooth technology as well as 67W of USB-C power to fast-charge smart devices.

Recaro Aircraft Seating is a global supplier of premium aircraft seats for airlines and OEMs. Headquartered in Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, Recaro employs 2,100 people worldwide across its sites in China, Poland, South Africa, and the United States. The company earned 260 million Euros in revenue in 2021.

Panasonic Avionics is a subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation of North America, the principal North American subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation of Japan. The company is a supplier of in-flight entertainment equipment including satellite-based broadband technology for Boeing, Airbus, and Bombardier.
