Saudi Arabia’s Key Technologies Eyes Vietnamese Market

Key Technologies, a Saudi Arabian company established in 2019, introduced Symban, a new generation border and coastal surveillance solution, to the Vietnamese market.

Among the main features of Symban are interconnection of multiple radars and multiple Theia cameras through IP radio network, remote Control for all equipment through encrypted IP Mesh network and/or 5G network, as well as automatic target tracking by video image analysis and/or radar.

According to Ferit Bonfil, CEO of Key Technologies, Symban can be used for border control, coastline surveillance, prevention of irregular migration, sensitive and critical infrastructure protection, pipeline surveillance, as well as search & rescue operations on sea or land.

Symban is an attractive proposition for Vietname give its extensive coastline of more than 3000 km and the need to protect its borders with many countries.

“We are in the early stages of exploring the Vietnamese market but we realize that there is a lot of potential,” said a company representative. “Although the market is developing at a good pace, it often takes a long time to expand business relations. We are happy to be at the show, a it gives us a chance to introduce the product and meet with decision-makers.”
