Aeronautics group, a provider of comprehensive unmanned solutions to the military and civilian markets, is introducing its Orbiter 4 at the Singapore Airshow.
The Orbiter 4 has high transportability and does not need a landing strip. It has advanced technological capabilities including the ability to carry and operate 2 payloads simultaneously, endurance of 24 hours, use of satellite communication, cellular interception sensor that is fully operational from take-off throughout the mission until landing under GPS denied conditions, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and Controp’s advanced XR electro-optic payload.
“We provide a comprehensive set of advanced and complete solutions for various defense missions,” says Amos Matan, CEO of Aeronautics Group. “Our products are operated by more than 50 military and security forces worldwide and have already completed hundreds of thousands of operational flight hours.”
Among the company’s products other products are Orbiter 1K, Orbiter 2 UAS, Orbiter 3 Small Tactical UAS, Pegasus 120 Tactical VTOL UAS, and Orbiter Training Simulator (OTS).
Orbiter 1 is a loitering unmanned system that can detect and destroy a moving or a stationary target, given a specific waypoint. The system can also operate based on a given area range – the Orbiter 1K independently scans the area, detects and destroys the target – moving or stationary. It can fly for 2-3 hours, carrying a multi-sensor camera with day-and-night channels.
The Orbiter 2 UAS is a compact and lightweight system that offers extended endurance and range. It carries a multi-sensor camera with day-and-night channels and a laser pointer, and is gyro-stabilized with tri-sensor and zoom payload. easily controlled from a personal GCS, it has endurance of 4 hours up to 80km. Orbiter 3 Small Tactical UAS is used for military and homeland security missions, providing an operational range of up to 100 km and up to 7 hours of endurance. The system has significant tactical UAS capabilities in a mini-aerial platform body and can be assembled in 20 minutes.
Pegasus 120 is Aeronautics’ first multi rotor platform. It is designed for defense and security missions and has a maximum payload weight of up to 75 kg.
