JSR which is located in the Indian city of Nagpur has been developing ground-based and air-based weapons, such as Glide Weapons, Light Weight Cruise Missiles and allied sub-assemblies and components.

The proposed missile systems are being displayed at Aero India and include; Long-range stand-off concept weapon ‘Khagantak’-225-LW, Long-range stand-off weapon concept ‘Waghnak’ and the light weight cruise missile concept ‘VEL’.

BEL also signed a Teaming Agreement with Hughes India at the air show for design, development, supply, installation, integration and commissioning of Satellite Communication (SATCOM) solutions for helicopters.
