Global Business Press (GBP) has been appointed as official publisher of the print show daily edition for the prestigious inaugural edition of Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX), which will take place from 3th to 5th December 2018 at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre, New Cairo.
An agreement to this effect was inked between Vittorio Rossi Prudente, CEO Global Business Press (GBP), publisher of Asian Defence Technology, Daily News and Asian Airlines & Aerospace and Mike Soper, Head of Marketing at Clarion Events Middle East, which is the organiser of EDEX.
“The event will bring the international defence industry to Egypt to demonstrate their capabilities and also offer the Egyptian Military Production companies a platform to showcase their equipment and services to other militaries from around the world. We look forward to welcoming visitors, militaries and industry Egypt for EDEX in 2018,” says Major General Mohsen Abdel Nabi, Chairman of the Armed Forces Moral Affairs Department.
EDEX is Egypt’s first tri-service defence expo covering air, land and sea and GBP will publish EDEX Daily News for the three consecutive trade days on an ‘Exclusive Basis’.

GBP will also distribute a digital version of the EDEX Daily News Online to its extensive subscriber database.
EDEX 2018 is being held under the patronage of His Excellency, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, The President of The Arab Republic of Egypt and The Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
The event has received the full support of the Egyptian Armed Forces. An international military VIP Delegation Programme and a Strategic Military Conference will also take place alongside EDEX 2018.
EDEX 2018, is expected to attract more than 300 of the world’s most important defence companies and more than 10,000 visitors are expected for the inaugural edition of the show.
