Gravitek, a company specializing in state-of-the-art energy absorbing solutions, opened its new facility in Turkey.
Gravitek will supply the armored vehicle industry with its high-end, Blast Protection seating solutions.
The demand for energy absorbing seats has increased dramatically in recent years, based on experience gained in wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Gravitek offers a wide range of blast mitigation seating solutions from the highly ergonomic Troop Seat, to the more complex Driver, Commander and Gunner seats.
Gravitek plans to penetrate the market with advanced designs of energy absorbing seats.
Gravitek’s seating solutions comply with STANAG 4569 (NATO Standardization Agreement for protection levels of occupants in armored vehicles) level 3 and 4 and adheres to the demanding vehicle safety standards such as FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard )and more.
Oren Goor, Gravitek’s CEO said that the company plans to cooperate with leading armored vehicle companies.
