Qatari Emiri Air Force Inks MoU with RBAT for Experimental Anti-Drone System

The armed forces signed a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding in the military fields, during the The third day of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (Dimdex 2022) witnessed a series of agreements between the armed forces of Qatar and domestic and international firms.

In a sign of Qatar’s steadily growing defence industrial base, the Qatari Amiri Air Forces entered into an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rheinmetall Barzan Advanced Technologies (RBAT) for an experimental anti-drone system.

The MoU signing ceremony witnessed Staff Brigadier-General Rashid Ali al-Qashouti, acting commander of the Qatari Amiri Air Forces signing the MoU on behalf of the Qatari Amiri Air forces.
