Tawazun is showcasing its capabilities and products in three key areas at IDEX 2021 and NAVDEX 2021 being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
The Tawazun Economic Council pavilion in this edition of IDEX is spread over 1600 sqm, an increase in size of 74% compare to its space in the previous edition of IDEX.
The pavilion includes specialized projects and advanced technologies developed locally and in collaboration with several strategic partners.
Tawazun, Proof House, Strategic Development Fund and others will showcase their individual programs and projects.
Tawazun Economic Council had previously signed an agreement with ADNEC to become the Principal Partner of this edition of IDEX and NAVDEX.
The council will highlight its core operations as well as the role it plays in empowering the national defense and security industry by enabling strategic partnerships with international companies.
The Council will also offer a virtual platform for those who cannot visit in person.
The online platform will provide viewers with the opportunity to interact with the exhibitors and to set online meetings.
Tawazun’s first focus area at the event will be its support of acquisitions and procurements for the Armed Forces, GHQ and Abu Dhabi Police, providing technical support and ensuring utilization of the latest technologies.
The second area addresses the role of Tawazun in R&D and innovation, as well as transfer of advanced technology.
The third area of focus is on the council’s role in providing multiple investment options for its strategic partners, global defense companies and suppliers, while creating an enabling legal framework for the military and security industry.
“The principal partnership and participation of Tawazun Economic Council in IDEX 2021 and Navdex 2021 is in line with the vision of Tawazun,” said H. E. Tareq Abdulraheem Al Hosani, the Chief Executive Officer of the Tawazun Economic Council.
“Our objectives include supporting and empowering the defense and security industry and contributing to the development of the UAE Armed Forces capabilities. Tawazun is also focused on developing the UAE’s technological and industrial capabilities and in supporting the government’s directives of achieving sustainable economic growth in the country.
