INDIGENOUS DEFENCE MIGHT
Defence & Security 2022 opened to sizeable crowds that
were witness to the dramatic growth of Thailand’s domes-
tic defence industry. The Thai Ministry of Defence pavilion
showcased a wide range of unmanned aerial systems,
many of them nearing service entry or already in ser-
vice. Indigenous efforts reducing the import dependency
for small arms systems and their ammunition were also
displayed.
